What should I do if my book is rejected?
What should I do if my book requires changes?
If the PubliWrite review team finds an issue with your submission, the book may be marked as Needs your action.
This does not necessarily mean your book cannot be published. In most cases, you need to review the feedback, correct the issue, and submit the affected format again.
How will I know that changes are required?
You may receive an email notifying you that your submission needs changes.
You can also see the status from your PubliWrite dashboard.
Look for:
- Needs your action beside the manuscript
- Requires changes on the affected publishing format
- A message from the reviewer explaining what needs to be corrected
Only the affected format may require changes. For example, your eBook may need attention while your paperback, hardcover, or PDF versions have not yet been started.

How do I view the reviewer’s feedback?
You can view the feedback in two ways.
From the affected format
- Go to your dashboard.
- Find the manuscript marked Needs your action.
- Locate the format marked Requires changes.
- Click Review.
- Read the reviewer’s explanation carefully.
From the status menu
- Click Needs your action beside the manuscript.
- Review how many publications require changes.
- Read the feedback shown for the affected format.
- Click Resolve to continue.
The feedback will explain the issue that needs to be corrected.
What kind of changes may be required?
Your book may require changes because of an issue with:
- The manuscript or uploaded file
- A file that is corrupted or exported incorrectly
- Missing or incomplete content
- Formatting
- The book cover
- The title or author name
- The book description or metadata
- Pricing
- The selected publishing format
- Print settings
- Copyright or permissions
- PubliWrite’s content guidelines
Make sure you correct every issue mentioned in the reviewer feedback before submitting the format again.

Other formats connected to the same manuscript may have their own setup and review status.
