What happens during the book review process?

After you submit your book for publication, it goes through PubliWrite’s review process before it becomes available to readers.

This review helps make sure the book meets PubliWrite’s technical, formatting, content, and marketplace requirements.

Why does PubliWrite review books before publication?

The review process helps protect the quality of the platform and ensures that books can be displayed, sold, and delivered correctly.

It also helps identify issues that could affect the reader experience, such as missing files, incorrect covers, formatting problems, or incomplete book details.

What does the PubliWrite team check?

During the review process, the PubliWrite team may check:

  • Whether the manuscript file opens correctly
  • Whether the book appears complete
  • Whether the book title and author name are correct
  • Whether the cover includes the correct title and author name
  • Whether the cover is clear, readable, and suitable for publication
  • Whether the book description, language, genre, and other details are accurate
  • Whether the selected format is set up correctly
  • Whether print settings are complete, if the book is submitted as paperback or hardcover
  • Whether the book follows PubliWrite’s content guidelines
  • Whether there are any technical or formatting issues that need to be corrected

Does PubliWrite edit my book during review?

No. PubliWrite does not rewrite, edit, or change your manuscript during the review process.

If the team finds an issue, you may be asked to correct it and resubmit the book for review.

For example, you may need to update your cover, fix formatting, upload the correct file, complete missing details, or adjust something in the submission.

What happens if everything is correct?

If your book meets the required standards, it can be approved and prepared for publication.

Once approved, your book will become available to readers based on the selected format and publishing setup.

What happens if changes are needed?

If changes are needed, your submission may be rejected or returned with feedback.

The feedback will explain what needs to be corrected before the book can be approved.

After making the required changes, you can resubmit the book for review.

How long does the review take?

The standard review process usually takes 3–5 business days.

In some cases, it may take longer if the book needs additional checks or if there are issues with the files, cover, formatting, content, or book details.

How can I avoid delays?

Before submitting your book, make sure that:

  • Your personal details are completed
  • Your KYC verification is completed
  • Your manuscript is final and complete
  • Your cover is final and includes the correct title and author name
  • Your book details are accurate
  • Your selected format is correct
  • Your price is correct
  • Your content follows PubliWrite’s guidelines
  • Your files are uploaded in the correct format
