Can I update my book after publishing?

Yes. You can request updates to your book after it has been published, but you cannot make these changes directly from your account once the book is live.

To update a published book, you need to contact the PubliWrite team and explain what you would like to change.


Why can’t I update it myself?

After a book is published, changes may affect the book page, reader access, files, pricing, formats, print setup, or marketplace listing.

For this reason, updates to published books need to be reviewed and handled by the PubliWrite team to make sure everything remains correct and consistent.


What can I request to update?

You can contact PubliWrite if you need to update details such as:

  • Book title
  • Author name or pen name
  • Book description
  • Genre or category
  • Book cover
  • Manuscript file
  • PDF file
  • eBook file
  • Print files
  • Price
  • ISBN or edition details
  • Other book information shown on the book page


How do I request an update?

To request an update, contact the PubliWrite team at info@publiwrite.com.

In your message, include:

  • Your book title
  • Your author name or pen name
  • The format you want to update, such as eBook, PDF, paperback, or hardcover
  • A clear explanation of what you want to change
  • Any updated files, if needed
  • Any important details the team should know


What happens after I send the request?

The PubliWrite team will review your request and let you know what happens next.

Depending on the type of update, the team may:

  • Confirm the change can be made
  • Ask for additional information
  • Ask you to send a corrected file
  • Review the updated file or details
  • Apply the change to the published book
  • Let you know if the update requires additional steps


Will the update appear immediately?

Not always.

Some updates may take time to review, process, and apply. Updates involving files, covers, print settings, pricing, or book metadata may need extra checks before they appear publicly.


Important note

If your update affects the manuscript, cover, print file, or book details, make sure the new version is final before sending it to the PubliWrite team.

This helps avoid delays and prevents multiple rounds of corrections.
