Can I sell my book in print ?

Can I sell my book in print?

Yes. PubliWrite allows authors to publish and sell books in print through Print On Demand.
This means your book can be made available as a physical book, such as a paperback or hardcover, without needing to print a large number of copies in advance.

What print formats are available?

Depending on your book and publishing setup, you may be able to publish your book as:

  • Paperback
  • Hardcover
You are also be able to publish the same book in digital formats, such as eBook or PDF, but each format needs to be submitted separately.

How does Print On Demand work?

With Print On Demand, physical copies are printed when readers order them.
This helps authors sell printed books without managing inventory, storage, packaging, or large upfront print runs.
When a reader purchases a print version, the order is processed for printing and delivery.

How do I submit a book for print?

To submit your book in print:

  1. Start the publishing process from your PubliWrite account.
  2. Choose the print format you want, such as Paperback or Hardcover.
  3. Complete the edition information.
  4. Add your book description and required book details.
  5. Complete the printing settings.
  6. Choose the lamination type and text stock, where required.
  7. Set your price.
  8. Upload the required cover files.
  9. Review the overview page.
  10. Click Submit for approval.
After submission, your book will go through PubliWrite’s review process before it can become available to readers.

What printing settings do I need to choose?

When publishing a print book, you need to select print settings such as:

  • Page size
  • Lamination type
  • Text stock
  • Colour or black-and-white interior options, where available
  • Print-ready interior file (if an external manuscript is submitted)
  • Print-ready cover file
These settings help prepare your book for physical production.

How does pricing work for print books?

Print books have production costs, so pricing works differently from digital books.
During the print setup, PubliWrite shows a minimum price based on the cost of printing your book.
Your final selling price should be higher than the printing cost so royalties can be calculated correctly.

What cover files do I need for print?

For print books, you need to provide:

  • A marketplace cover image, which appears publicly on your book page
  • A print-ready cover PDF, which is used for physical production
The print-ready cover needs to include the front cover, back cover, spine, correct trim size, margins, and bleed.
Make sure your cover includes the correct title and author name before submitting.

What happens after I submit my print book?

After you click Submit for approval, your book enters PubliWrite’s review process.
The team will check whether the files, cover, print settings, book details, and content meet the required publishing standards.
The standard review timeline is usually 3–5 business days.
If changes are needed, you will receive feedback before the book can be approved.

Important note

Print books require more setup than digital books because they need to be prepared for physical production.
Before submitting, make sure your interior file, cover files, print settings, price, and book details are complete and final.
