How do I report a book or review?

If you find a book or review on PubliRead that you believe should be reported, you can notify the PubliWrite team directly from the book page.

How do I report a problem?

To report a book or review:

1. Open the book page.
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
3. Click Report a problem.
4. Explain what the issue is.
5. Submit your report.

What can I report?

You can use the Report a problem option if you believe a book or review includes something inappropriate, misleading, or against PubliWrite’s guidelines.

For example, you may report:

• Offensive or abusive content
• Spam or misleading information
• Copyright or ownership concerns
• A review that is unrelated to the book
• A review that includes harassment or personal attacks
• A review that appears fake or manipulative
• A book that seems to break platform content rules

What should I include in my report?

When submitting a report, try to explain the issue as clearly as possible.

You can include:

• What you are reporting: a book or a review
• Why you believe it should be reviewed
• Any important context that may help the team understand the issue

Clear reports help the team review the situation faster.

What happens after I submit a report?

After you submit a report, the PubliWrite team will review it and decide whether any action is needed.

Depending on the situation, the team may:

• Leave the content unchanged
• Review the book or review more closely
• Remove or hide the review
• Contact the author or reviewer
• Take further action if the content breaks platform guidelines

Will I be notified about the result?

The team may contact you if more information is needed.

However, for privacy and safety reasons, PubliWrite may not always be able to share the final outcome of the review.

Important note

Please use the reporting option only when there is a genuine issue.

A report should not be used simply because you disagree with a review, rating, genre, or personal opinion.
