Who controls the IP when publishing on PubliWrite?

At PubliWrite, we fully respect and protect the intellectual property rights of all authors. As an author, you retain 100% ownership and control over your work at all times. We are simply the platform that helps you publish, distribute, and market your book — the rights remain solely yours.

Once your book is live on PubliWrite, you cannot edit or unpublish it directly through your dashboard. This policy ensures the integrity of published content and maintains a consistent experience for readers. However, you can withdraw or delist a book from the platform and publish a new edition with any new changes.

What rights do you have as an author on PubliWrite?

As the rightful owner of your book, you have the exclusive rights to:

Reproduce your book in any format (print, digital, audiobook, etc.).

Distribute your book anywhere you choose — online, offline, or through other platforms.

Display and promote your book as you see fit, using any marketing, advertising, or distribution channels.

Sell your book at the price you decide, on PubliWrite or outside of it.

Create derivative works, such as translations, adaptations, or audiobooks.

You are free to manage your book's presence on other platforms, enter into contracts with third parties, or publish additional editions, without any restrictions from PubliWrite.

Author’s Responsibility

While PubliWrite empowers you to have full control over your intellectual property, it is your responsibility to:

Ensure that all content is original or that you have obtained the necessary permissions if you are using third-party materials (images, quotes, etc.).

Make sure that your book and its content comply with local and international laws, including copyright, privacy, and defamation laws. You can find more information about copyright here.

Important Notes:

PubliWrite does not claim or take any ownership of your content.

PubliWrite only provides the tools for you to publish, distribute, and promote your book.

You are responsible for protecting your rights legally (for example, by registering your copyright, if you choose to).
