Are there any fees or taxes deducted from my earnings?

PubliWrite does not charge an additional withdrawal fee when you withdraw your earnings. However, some fees may still apply depending on your withdrawal method, payment provider, and personal tax situation.


Platform fee

When a book is sold, PubliWrite applies the platform fee connected to your author plan. This platform fee is already reflected in your royalty rate:

Withdrawal provider fees

PubliWrite does not charge an extra fee for withdrawing your earnings. However, the payment provider may apply a withdrawal fee.

These fees are applied by the payment provider, not by PubliWrite.


Stripe withdrawals

To withdraw via Stripe, you need to complete KYC verification. Stripe applies a 1% withdrawal fee.


PayPal withdrawals

To withdraw via PayPal, you need to complete KYC verification. Your PayPal account will be used to receive the funds.


Taxes

PubliWrite does not provide tax advice or automatically calculate your personal tax obligations. Depending on your country, income level, and legal status, you may be responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your earnings. If you are unsure how your earnings should be reported, we recommend speaking with a tax advisor or accountant in your country.
