How do I report inappropriate behavior or content?
If you see content or behaviour on PubliWrite or PubliRead that you believe breaks the platform’s guidelines, you can report it to the PubliWrite team.
Reports help keep the platform respectful, safe, and useful for authors, readers, and creators.
What can I report?
You can report content or behaviour that appears inappropriate, harmful, misleading, or against PubliWrite’s guidelines.
For example, you may report:
- Offensive, abusive, or hateful content
- Harassment or personal attacks
- Spam or misleading information
- Fake or manipulative reviews
- Copyright or ownership concerns
- A book that appears to break content rules
- A review that is unrelated, abusive, or inappropriate
- Behaviour that makes the platform unsafe or unfair for other users
How do I report something from a book page?
If the issue is related to a book or review on PubliRead, you can use the Report a problem button on the book page.
To report from a book page:
- Open the book page on PubliRead.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click Report a problem.
- Explain what the issue is.
- Submit your report.
The PubliWrite team will review the report and decide whether any action is needed.

How do I report something by email?
If you cannot use the report button, or if the issue is not connected to a specific book page, you can contact PubliWrite by email at info@publiwrite.com.
In your message, include:
- What you are reporting
- Where the issue appears, if applicable
- A link to the book page, review, profile, or content, if available
- A short explanation of the issue
- Screenshots or extra details, if they may help the team review the case
What should I include in my report?
Try to make your report clear and specific.
Helpful details may include:
- The book title
- The author name, if visible
- The review or content you are reporting
- The reason you believe it should be reviewed
- Any relevant screenshots
- Any context that helps explain the issue
Clear reports help the team understand and review the situation faster.
What happens after I submit a report?
After you submit a report, the PubliWrite team will review the issue and decide whether any action is needed.
Depending on the situation, the team may:
- Leave the content unchanged
- Review the content more closely
- Ask for more information
- Remove or hide the content
- Contact the author, reader, or reviewer
- Take further action if the content or behaviour breaks platform guidelines
Will I be notified about the result?
The team may contact you if more information is needed or if there is an update they can share.
However, for privacy and safety reasons, PubliWrite may not always be able to share the final outcome of the review or any action taken.
Important note
Please only report content or behaviour when there is a genuine concern.
A report should not be used simply because you disagree with a review, rating, opinion, genre, writing style, or personal interpretation of a book.
