Can I sell my book elsewhere too?
Can I sell my book elsewhere too?
Yes. Selling exclusively on PubliWrite is not required.
You can publish and sell your book on PubliWrite while also selling it through other platforms, marketplaces, bookstores, or your own website.
PubliWrite does not require an exclusive publishing agreement.
What does non-exclusive mean?
Non-exclusive means that publishing your book on PubliWrite does not stop you from selling or distributing the same book elsewhere.
For example, you may choose to sell your book through:
- PubliWrite / PubliRead
- Other online bookstores
- Your own website
- Other self-publishing platforms
- Physical events, book fairs, or direct sales
What should I check before selling elsewhere?
Before publishing or selling the same book on multiple platforms, make sure you understand the terms of any other services you use.
Some platforms, distributors, publishers, or promotional programs may have their own rules about exclusivity, pricing, distribution, or rights.
You should check whether another agreement affects:
- Where you can sell the book
- Whether the book must be exclusive to another platform
- Whether pricing must match across platforms
- Whether you have granted any specific rights to another publisher or partner
- Whether you can publish the same edition or format elsewhere
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. Publishing on PubliWrite does not transfer ownership of your book rights to PubliWrite.
You remain responsible for your work and for making sure you have the rights needed to publish and sell it.
