Formatting is a critical step when publishing a book, it ensures your book looks professional and is easy to read, making a strong first impression on readers. It helps guiding the reader smoothly through your content and it also shows the quality and seriousness of your work.
Use your preferred font– You can choose between various fonts.

Ensure Proper Paragraph Structure – Choose what suits best your book.

Include content – Ensure your book has all the sections you want.
Ensuring your book has adequate formatting is essential in ensuring a good flow of information to the reader. Furthermore, it can help better convey your idea and make sure no parts remain untouched.
Front Matter - regarded as the first section of a book and is generally the shortest; it is also sometimes called the prelims, or preliminary matter. It can be as simple as a single title page, or it can include multiple title pages, foreword, a preface, and much more. Back matter refers to everything that comes after the main text of the document Addendum, Acknowledgments, etc.
Acknowledgement - is the section of your book where you thank everyone who contributed to your book usually printed at the front of the book.
Notes - is an optional component of your book's back matter. It includes relevant information about your book and it can be regarded as a bonus section of your book. It can provide insights about the author's inspiration, goals and writing process.
Back Matter - is the information included at the end of your book, displayed after the main content of the book is finished. It can mention conclusions, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, contributor lists, sources, suggested reading, epilogues, afterwards, and author's notes.
Chapters - is a division of content with the same theme. Their greatest use is to display a passage of time and major scenery changes.

Use Page Breaks Between Chapters – Avoid using excessive line breaks.
